I spent a sleepness night tidying up the tags. A few songs were tagged incorrectly in CD7. Using my rudimentary Japanese skills I was able to figure that one was called ‘Watashi ga Aruku Michi’ and tried to type that in Japanese. Conveniently, Sakura-Taisen.com doesn’t completely list all the songs in the box. Thanks for nothing.

How to convert to Romaji/Japanese Tags
By default, when you first download them, they look like this:
English tags are used by default

I’m using foobar2000 here to copy the tags between ROMAJITITLE, JAPANESETITLE and ENGLISHTITLE.
right click on tags, manage script

Get it? Credit goes to a nice guy from WinNY.
EDIT: HOLY SHIT 76 peers!!! and… 6 seeds?
EDIT2: Oh this is better… it’s actually 100 peers and 28 freaking seeds… I’m a hit! 😀
EDIT3: I’m surprised how many people from Japan are downloading this… you’d think since they’re closer to the scene, they would’ve gone ‘ah, old news’. I’m also surprised that people still use Bitcomet… it’s filling up my error logs quite quickly.

28 thoughts on “(release) Sakura Taisen Complete Song Box 2002-2006”

  1. I’ve downloaded this boxset about 3 years ago… it was encoded in VBR ~256kbps and is about 970MB in size

Great album btw… highly recommended 🙂

  2. @Mav: no way, this album was released at most two years ago. Remember, this is the second Complete Song Box, which nobody has heard of.

Can you check if it really is the one released on 2006? I’d sure love to have that, because I have a 320kbps version of the original CSB… and I like consistency.

  3. ahhh ok sorry 🙂

Didn’t know there was a 2nd box set of this and coincidently(well… probably on purpose) with 8 discs as well.
Anyways, my apologies again…. I guess I ignored the 2002-2006 part which I thought was some kind of typo 🙂

  4. When I had difficulty to complete work at university, I was always listennig the first CSB to get it trough. In fact, I seriously think I own my degree to CSB ! With a new collection to listen, I want to go back to school !
Thanks, those kinds of songs are hard to find

  5. Music usually doesn’t help me, because when it’s time to do the laundry, I stay glued at the computer because I want to listen to more music. And that’s why I’m saving up for a PSP…..

  6. please re seed for me, i am sorry for found this torrent late. but i love sakura taisen very much and i want you to help. thank you very much

  7. ack… I just found out about this album and there are hardly any seeders and it’s dl-ing at 1kb/s (if i’m lucky, otherwise its 0kb/s) T^T could someone please seed this? thank you very much for any help! x.x

  8. Hello! I just found out about this torrent now.. My status is the same as TwilightKappa’s. Nil downloads~ T_T *why* But I’m keeping my torrent open in hopes that I get higher dls~ huhuhuaa..

  9. Unfortunately, I have the filez, but I can’t seed them at the moment because I have no internet in my room, and I doubt anybody would be happy if I seeded for 5 minutes at a time from the library computers.

  10. Oh I see. Umm, if you don’t mind my asking, when do you think you’ll be able to seed again? I’m actually planning to buy the original CDs but it’s going to take a long while too before I can save enough cash~

  11. You need to be a more diligent Sakura Taisen fan. This CSB has been out of print about 2 months before I downloaded it and put it up here. In fact, that’s exactly why I downloaded it – because I couldn’t use my mom and dad’s money without them noticing, and I didn’t get a job in time. So it slipped away with the torrent of preorders, right in front of me.

And I don’t know when I’ll get my internet back, sorry. I haven’t even asked them yet, because they told me to wait one goddamn week. If they tell me to wait another week again, I swear somebody’s head is going to be crushed.

  12. hahaha. Okay. I’ll just come back again~ ^^; gomen, I was still a kid when I got into Sakura Wars and first heard about the CSBs so I totally let it slip off. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to reply! I really appreciate it!

  13. Well! I just decided to come back after a month and found the torrent running good. I have the songs now. Thanks so much!! ILU! *w*

  14. Today I finished watching “Gekigouban Sakura Taisen – Katsudou Shashin” and finally decided to listen to its ending… Now I have another corrupted CD -_- Tracks 16 & 17 of 7th CD are unlistenable.

    1. Hey thanks a lot for the release – did you rip it yourself? I’ll download it when I get to school next time.
I don’t have lossless of the 1st CSB, sorry. But when I went on Share EX2 or WinNY, I saw the 1st CSB in FLAC format. That was when I was looking for the 2nd CSB, so it might be gone by then. If you got your corrupted FLAC CSB there, I don’t know where else you can get it.

  15. Hm-m… I use Share too, but I found there only discs 1-3, in *.ape format.
I’ve got 1st CSB from emule in *.ape format, so FLAC version may still be good… May I ask you to look for it? ^^
May be there’s still chance to get it from WinNY… I don’t know how to use it… ^^

  16. What’s the point of getting FLAC when you have an APE version already? APE compresses better anyway. Just use this to make sure your audio isn’t actually an MP3 reencoded as a APE:
    http://www.neillcorlett.com/informer/
    and be on your way.
Unless, of course, you’re talking about the 2nd CSB… you know, there was once a time when I prided myself on being able to find anything on the internet.

    Boy, was I wrong.

It took me a great deal of time and effort to find this release, and I can honestly say, with all the shit I have to jump through just to get P2P working from my dorm, it’s just not worth the hassle for me. Share never worked since I came to Germany – always disconnected the nodes, plus documentation is scarce. Utatane – I have to spend months building up my rep. WinNY – I forgot what I did to make it work, but one thing’s for sure, it isn’t working for me right now.

  17. Well, as I said, I had found only discs 1-3 of 1st CSB in Share. And 1st CSB has 8 discs… ^^

Also, I mentioned ‘APE’ to say that what I got from emule (The Chinese usually don’t re-encode) and saw in Share was another release, so that ‘FLAC’ release you had seen in Share earlier may be not corrupted. =) (my ‘APE’ release has problems mentioned above). The problem is that I don’t see that ‘FLAC’ release in Share now…

I know about formats, and there’s easier way to check whether audio is transcoded from MPEG or not (look for free program ”Audiochecker”).

Well, you still can use Utatane, can’t you?.. Only 4 tracks (of 139 total) are needed:
    CD4 track 17 – “Kagayaki”
    CD4 track 18 – “Gekitei Ondo”
    CD7 track 16 – “Gekijouban ~ Kiseki no Kane”
CD7 track 17 – “Gekijouban ~ Subete wa Umi he”

  18. I’ll see what I can do then, since you asked 🙂
Not soon, though. As I said, the network here is quite anal, and I would really love to find a different VPN provider since Ivacy is quite slow here in Germany; there’s the Pirate VPN or
CD4 track 18 – “Gekitei Ondo”something, but it requires one to have a credit card. Plus I want to have a 24/7 system for this, which probably isn’t gonna happen anytime soon. In the meantime, though, I’ll dust off my old warez skillz…

EDIT: Hey the Cat’s Song, Dog’s Song isn’t broken! Thank you!
